Ross Copperman nominated for MusicRow Breakthrough Songwriter Award

Ross Copperman, whose writing credits include “Tip It On Back,” recorded by Dierks Bentley, and “Pirate Flag,” recorded by Kenny Chesney, is nominated in the Breakthrough Songwriter category for the annual MusicRow Awards.  The category honors Nashville songwriters who for the first time wrote or co-wrote a top 10 song.

The MusicRow Awards are Nashville’s longest running music industry trade publication honors.  The awards will be hosted at ASCAP on Tuesday, June 25, at 5:30 pm.  See the full list of nominees here.  Congratulations, Ross!

Connie Harrington’s “I Drive Your Truck” nominated for MusicRow Song of the Year

“I Drive Your Truck,” co-written by Connie Harrington, is nominated in the MusicRow Awards Song of the Year category.

Kip Moore nominated for MusicRow Breakthrough Artist Award

Kip Moore has been nominated in the Breakthrough Artist category for the annual MusicRow Awards.  Kip Moore’s Up All Night was 2012′s best selling country debut album. Moore has recently scored No. 1 hits with “Somethin’ ‘Bout A Truck” and “Beer Money.”  After a streak of sold out headlining shows, Kip Moore will be busy touring this summer with Toby Keith.

Wade Bowen to host annual Wade Bowen Classic June 2-3

Wade Bowen will host his 15th annual Bowen Classic celebrity golf tournament on June 2 and 3 in Waco, Texas.  The event benefits The Bowen Family Foundation, and this year’s focus will be the townspeople and organizations affected by the recent tragedy in West, Texas.  For more information, visit wadebowern.com/classic.

Sing For Your Supper’s host chef Bob Waggoner prepared a gourmet four-course dinner for the 14th Annual Nashville Best Cellars Dinner, hosted by the T.J.
